In addition, she received her most coveted award yet- the Recovery in Action House of Hope Alumni Award in gratitude for her strength and commitment to serving Utah women in Recovery. This award has a very special meaning as she is an Alumni House of Hope graduate. She has been “coined” by the Utah Department of Corrections (DOC) for her collaboration on the Statewide Recidivism Reduction (SRR) grant. In addition, Heather provides Peer Support awareness training for advocates, stakeholders, state agencies, and community partners. As the Recovery & Resiliency Peer Support Program Manager, Heather manages statewide certification, fosters advocacy, and assists with Utah’s Peer Support movement. She enjoys spending time with family, riding ATVs on the mountain, going to the lake, and Jeeping.
Heather is passionate about spreading the message of HOPE and that RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE AND IT WORKS!
