About me
Christin is a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter at the Utah Transit Authority, where she connects professionals with impactful careers in public transportation. With over 25 years of experience across industries including hospitality, energy, finance, and aviation, she brings a strategic, relationship-driven approach to hiring. Christin is passionate about career pathing, employee development, and creating a positive candidate and manager experience. A graduate of the University of Utah, she is also an active community volunteer, supporting local organizations focused on pressing community needs. Outside of work, she enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and caring for her Maltidoodle, Maggie.
Christin and fellow speaker Sarah Simpson share a deep passion for supporting the disability community by helping individuals explore career opportunities and build long-term success. Their efforts have included mentoring students, participating in disability-focused career fairs, organizing tours and mentorship opportunities at UTA, participating in mock interviews, and serving as guest speakers. In recognition of their impact, they were honored with the 2024 Community Connection Award from Utah’s Department of Workforce Services for their joint work mentoring high school students with disabilities through the Utah Institute on Postsecondary Transition.
