About me
Aaron Thompson is the Director of Talent Acquisition at FranklinCovey. He started with FranklinCovey 27 years ago in a public program inside sales role and later transitioned to selling FranklinCovey services business to business in an outside sales role in Northern California. For the last 19 years, Aaron has worked on FranklinCovey’s People Services team leading talent acquisition for the organization.
“My dad attended an evening workshop with Stephen R. Covey just after the book the 7 Habits of Highly effective People was published in 1989. When dad came home, he left the book on the kitchen counter. The title caught my attention, and I snagged the book off the counter and read it cover to cover. I don’t think my dad ever saw the book again.” Aaron attended school at Utah State University graduating in Business Management with his favorite classes being organizational behavior. Performance improvement and self-help topics have always captivated Aaron’s attention. When Aaron graduated, he deliberately pointed the bat at FranklinCovey as the company he wanted to work for.
Aaron lives in Farmington, Utah, is married and has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. He loves the outdoors, running, hiking, bicycling, golf, and all things warm weather. He especially loves spending time in the southern Utah area. Aaron loves learning and is regularly listing to podcasts, reading books, and enjoys getting to know and learning from others life experience.
